Had our final pool session last night and finally got the hang of the roll. Got a bit more confident with the high Brace but strangely got more confidence on my weaker side.
Really hope it’s not too long before I get out in the sea now to have a play and build on this. If I can get this right in the sea I’ll be made up. It’s quite satisfying to think that if it goes tits up I’ll be able to sort myself out. Although I’d imagine any ripple on the surface or swells will make the job of rolling a different ball game!
Would definitely recommend this kayaking course to anybody starting out in kayaking.
