Olympic Gymnast Beth Tweddle was on the Island today for the sports awards. She kindly made time in her schedule to nip over to the Strand Centre to show her support for the Commonwealth Youth Games Volunteer recruitment drive being undertaken by the Games committee and Britannia International (Client).
Although she was only their for 20 minutes the queue for autographs was out the door. She made time for everyone and stopped for photos with the kids and Tosha who was also on scene. Really great to see so many people turn out to see Beth who really made some kid’s days.
