Isle of Man Facebook Demographics – February 2011

The slideshow below has been compiled using figures from Facebook.com and is based on the information provided by users. This is certainly not exact but it does give some interesting insights into the Manx Facebook population.

Last February I compiled some UK Facebook Demographics as Isle of Man data wasn’t available. I did send Mark Zuckerberg a request for stats to Isle of Man level but I very much doubt this was the catalyst for the update :-)

Facebook: An IOM Focus’ looks at the age, relationship status, education and gender of UK Facebook users, together with looking at the trends across these demographics. Many of the statistics show similar trends to that of the UK Facebook User Slideshow in February 2010 however the biggest difference was the noticeable increase in IOM listed Facebook users that do not provide a status for education or relationship. Other trends were as you would expect with the percentage of single people decreasing with age and the number of married people increasing with age.
