What’s going on at Amazon?

I just got a CD I ordered from Amazon which arrived from their Jersey Merchant indigostarfish and the case is all smashed up. In my order last week I got a smashed up CD case and I can’t find where to provide seller feedback because it is from Amazon and not technically a marketplace seller.

I buy CDs over downloading from iTunes because I like to have something I can hold, probably so I feel like I’ve got something for my money but what’s the point if they turn up smashed!! Come on Amazon pull your finger out!

Whilst I’m at it I’m also not feeling all that amazed by postage times either. I used to always be surprised by how quick things arrived but always seem to be waiting now and on a few occassions have waited weeks only to be finally told they couldn’t source it!! I only buy things I want to enjoy in the moment not really one for scheduling in a book to read in a couple of months.

Amazon whinge over…

    Sounds like a case of Amazon over stretching themselves and out growing themselves. Seems like a once trusted and liked brand is beginning to not live up to your expectations? I am sure there are plenty of smaller specialist suppliers out there that could give better service? What will be the tipping point?
